When Pigs Fly // Do what one can't do alone
The current members of When Pigs Fly are Wang Yu-Song, Lin Yu-Hsuan, Lin Ying-Chieh, Ho Yen-Yen, Hsu Ting-Jane, izhii, Yang Yi-Hsuan, Tang Ya-Wen, Tsai Taung-Hsun, Wei Po-Jen. The number of members will be different depending on each plan. When Pigs Fly is composed of a group of students from Taipei National University of the Arts. Since 2014, "When Pigs Fly" started to develop various group projects, such as residency projects and "Body Boat" project. In 2018, they presented the project "When Pigs Fly" in the exhibition "Guerrillas" and published "What we talk about when we talk about us" in the same year, refreshing the relationship between the individual and the group, and reflecting on how to collaborate and co-exist in the context of visual art. The members of When Pigs Fly include curators and artists. With their personal interests and emotion, they attempt to explore how to do what one can't do alone through the practice of visual art, curating and writing.

When Pigs Fly
"When Pigs Fly" begins from a group of artists trying to make a curator fly. In addition to the relationship between a group of creators and a curator, the emotional structure behind each member encourages the team to put their personal pursue aside. Just like when they rushed to attend the same social events three years ago, or those sleepless night when they helped each other to install the exhibitions. They do not intend to conceal such friendship. In fact, they rather continue the close relationship among members and develop more group projects with the plural and multi-perspectives.
