Gihak ArtLab was established in 2019. It is an contemporary art platform established by Nordkapp Studio after the "Fault Line Art Festival 2019," hoping to connect resources from different art organizations, continue to bring good contemporary art to Hualien and let the artistic energy grow in the area. ​

Gihak ArtLab is open and experimental. Through holding artist residency program, professional lectures and artistic workshops, artists and art practitioners of all disciplines from Taiwan and other countries are welcome to come to Gihak ArtLab for creation, research and local connection.
