Hong Jen-Jiu|Ceramic Workshop

The Landing of Drifting Seeds

Use your hands to knead the soil into shapes, create your own seed shapes, leaves, and fruits with your imagination; use the most direct contact with your hands to feel the humidity and softness of the clay. The instructor will guide the participants to create a seed in their heart, and the participants can bring their work back after the workshop.


In the workshop, the instructor, Hong Jen-Jiu will also demonstrate the hand-sculpting techniques and share her own creative experience and past works.

Hong Jen-Jiu

Hong Jen Jiu (Tina) is a ceramicst who is interested in nature topics, organic and abstract shapes. She is enthusiastic in ceramics and also ceramics accessories and home-decor making. She studied MFA in Hualien, Taiwan, it is a lovely place with mountain and Pacific ocean which inspired her a lot. After her studies, she moved to London in the UK to exploring the culture, the human and the possibility of living. Currently she is based in Yingge Taiwan, a historic place for ceramic in Taiwan.
